What are the check-in policies?

At check-in, Geoff will briefly talk about terms, conditions and rental payments. He will also confirm your passport and print a check-in form. 


The check-in time is flexible, please let us know what time you will be arriving ahead of time,  as the room attendant need time to prepare your room. We understand that you cannot control flight times so you are welcome to shower and use the other facilities.


If you would like to extend your stay, please advise us as soon as possible since there is no guarantee that the room will be free but we will do our best to accommodate your request.

What are the check-out policies?

The check-out time is 10am on your day of departure. The room should be left in the same state of cleanliness as it was when you arrived. All personal belongings should be removed. 


If your departure date changes, we require two weeks notice by email.

If you need a late checkout, you will need to email stay@96glebe.com two days in advance.

Are visitors allowed?

 Whether it is a visit from your parents or a dinner with someone special, we want to make sure you can share your house. We are one of a very few guest houses that have a BBQ area that your whole class can enjoy, please let us in advance if you plan to host a party.


As much as we love visitors, we want to be mindful of our other guests. You are also responsible for the conduct of your visitors and any misconduct or injury to any person or property damage caused by them. 

What is prohibited?

We are a non-smoking facility.


We are also a drug-free facility. The possession and usage or selling of any non-prescribed or illegal drugs and/or the possession of any equipment to aid the use of illegal drugs or substances is prohibited. Breaching this rule, in any form is considered serious misconduct and will result in us terminating your room accommodation agreement and reporting the incident to the police. 


Although we encourage fun, we ask that you do not drink alcohol in the house or courtyard from 10pm-9am as we want to be respectful of other guests. 


In regards to noise, we ask that you are mindful of the noise you are creating in regards to other guests.

What are the emergency procedures?

In order to prevent any situations, we prohibit the use of candles, incense burners, and oil burners on the premises.


Although we haven't had any yet, in case of emergency there are two emergency exits, one located on the 1st floor and another on the 3rd floor.


All safety information is located on the bedroom wall, and it is your responsibility read the information to keep yourself and others safe in an emergency.
